Admissions

General Requirements

Students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be eighteen years of age. (Applicants may be younger than eighteen but must turn eighteen by the time their first semester begins and before they move into any VSM accommodation.)
  2. Have had a personal experience of salvation through the person and work of Jesus Christ and have been baptized by immersion after salvation in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  3. Be a member in good standing of a Baptist church that is in agreement with the doctrinal beliefs of Vision School of Missions.
  4. Have graduated from high school or received a GED.
  5. Provide official transcripts for all (higher education) schools previously attended and be in good standing with those schools, academically, financially, and behaviorally. (Transfer credit will be considered and evaluated by the Administration on a case-by-case basis.)
  6. Exhibit the ability to accomplish the requirements for students attending Vision School of Missions.
  7. Agree to abide by the doctrinal beliefs, core values, code of conduct, policies, and procedures of Vision School of Missions.
  8. Have the financial ability to pay for housing, tuition, and fees associated with being a student at the Vision School of Missions.

Understanding the Application Process

After a prospective student has filled out the Get Started Now form above, he/she will be guided through the following checklist of items by an admissions advisor to become a fully enrolled student of Vision School of Missions.

  1. Complete the Vision School of Missions Application (with questions, email school@visionmissions.com)
  2. Pay a non-refundable Application Fee of $50
  3. Get both a criminal and financial (credit) background check and submit it before arriving.
  4. Provide proof of financial ability to pay your school bill.
  5. Provide the name and contact information of your pastor for reference.
  6. Complete an interview with at least one member of the Administration.
  7. Satisfy any additional interviews, exams, or requirements the Administration may deem necessary.
  8. Be approved by the Administration (via an Acceptance Letter).
