Remember that a call to serve is a call to prepare. The moment you decided to serve the Lord, you made a bold proclamation against the Devil. Because the Devil will use anything he can to deter you from God’s calling on your life, it is even more crucial that you be properly prepared.
Vision School of Missions (VSM) exists to help your church train you to do the Lord's work, whether on the mission field or in a church in America. We praise the Lord that our graduates have a track record of being well-prepared for ministry.

Vision School of Missions (VSM) was born out of the heart of a local church with a passion to train missionaries and Christian leaders to reach the world with the gospel in our generation. Founded in 2006 as a ministry of Vision Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia, VSM has equipped many young people to serve faithfully in local churches and on mission fields around the world.
In 2021, VSM became a program of Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. (VBM)—a missions agency with church-planting missionaries serving in more than 20 countries. As part of VBM, VSM benefits from the regular teaching and mentorship of experienced, church-planting missionaries.
VSM maintains strong ties with like-minded local churches, providing students with hands-on ministry opportunities in a local church context.
In 2022, VSM relocated to a beautiful campus in Dawsonville, Georgia. Just a short drive from the Blue Ridge Mountains, Amicalola Falls, Dahlonega, Lake Lanier, and the city of Atlanta, Dawsonville offers an ideal environment for study, ministry, and personal growth—with abundant opportunities for recreation and employment.
By God’s grace, Vision School of Missions continues to prepare a new generation of laborers for the harvest fields of the world.
PARTNERING WITH LOCAL CHURCHES
VSM expects each student to maintain a strong relationship with their home church. We believe the local New Testament church is the God-ordained place where believers are called, equipped, and sent into ministry.
VSM partners with local churches to train young people in the character, doctrine, and skills needed to serve the Lord effectively. This training includes biblical teaching, practical training, personal mentoring, and an overseas internship. Upon completing the program, graduates have the opportunity to partner with Vision Baptist Missions as their sending agency.
