God Respects You?!?

“Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: But the proud he knoweth afar off.” — Psalm 138:6

The dictionary defines respect as esteem, regard, or deep admiration. The Bible states that the Lord respects the lowly or humble. However, it’s challenging to understand how a perfect, just, and all-wise God can respect His creation. While I may not fully grasp this, it is clear that He respects the lowly.

Pride is a common and natural trait, but it often strains relationships and, according to this verse, causes God to remain distant from us. Therefore, choosing humility will earn you God’s respect.
