Become a Missionary
Vision Baptist Missions offers three exciting ministry fields of service—Foreign Missionary, Stateside Missionary, and Helps Missionary—all focused on planting and strengthening healthy, indigenous, independent Baptist churches. Missionaries start with cultural training and, when needed, language study alongside a veteran missionary. Foreign missionaries typically serve in four-year terms with a one-year furlough, while stateside and helps missionaries follow adjusted support-raising schedules.
Applicants should show spiritual maturity, solid doctrine, and a consistent Christian walk. Requirements include salvation and baptism, church membership with pastoral recommendation, key readings, a six-month internship, ministry experience, health and citizenship qualifications, limited unsecured debt, and a background check.
No matter the field of service, each missionary helps advance the gospel and train national leaders to continue the work for generations to come.
