The Reward of Faithfulness You Get to See (Part 6)

Not all rewards wait for heaven.

One of God’s gracious gifts is allowing His servants to see glimpses of fruit—lives changed, churches planted, communities transformed.

Stories like Don Richardson’s Peace Child remind us that breakthroughs often come after years of obscurity, confusion, and apparent failure. Faithfulness precedes fruit.

Most ministry looks nothing like the dream:

• Language barriers
• Cultural misunderstanding
• Slow progress
• Discouraging setbacks

But sometimes, God allows us to look back and say, “I got to be part of that.”

Those moments do not glorify the missionary—they magnify God.

They remind us that obedience matters, even when results are delayed.
