VBM Update From the Home Base - Week 49
A Season to Give Thanks
Thanksgiving reminds us to express gratitude, and there are always good reasons to be thankful. In God, we find a loving Father, a promising future, a comforting presence, and a divine guide. Taking a moment to list things you’re grateful for can lift your mood, bring a smile, inspire a quiet prayer of thanks, and awaken your awareness of the goodness in your life. We indeed have much to be thankful for!!
Thankful for the PAC
The Pastoral Advisory Committee consists of 15 pastors that offer prayer, counsel, insight, representation, accountability, and a strong future. Last Thursday ten of the fifteen men visited our beautiful campus for our annual in-person meeting. What a wonderful time of fellowship and help as we plan and pray for VBM. Praise the Lord for these great men!

Thankful for a New VSM Teacher!!
During the Pastoral Advisory Committee, Pastor Bill Schneider from Fellowship Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, MD, announced that he recently resigned his church and will be moving to be a permanent teacher at VSM! He has prayed about this for a few years, and we are thrilled God is allowing this to happen!

Thankful for a New Vice Chairman of PAC
During the Pastoral Advisory Committee, Pastor Michael Jones was voted in as the new vice chairman. Pastor Jason Georges just rolled off as chairman, making Pastor Kyle Coker the new chairman, and Pastor Michael Jones the new vice chairman. Praise the Lord for great, godly leadership!

Thankful for Preview Day
We had several visitors for Preview Day, and grateful for what God did during that time. Thank you to the many missionaries that helped receive our guests and speak to them about their next step in missions!

Hall Family Returning to South Africa
Kevin & Corli Hall returned to South Africa last week after a good furlough. Please pray as God continues to lead and use them for His glory.

Sponsor a Student
We are thrilled God is sending us new students. We have been praying and working strategically for this. There are times, when you studied, that God gave you what you needed at just the right time. I want to encourage you to consider being a financial blessing to one of the students that might be in need right now. If so, you can contact Travis or myself to find out more details and help a future missionary on their journey!

Ladies Conference
On February 7, 2026, we will be holding a ladies conference on the campus of Vision Baptist Missions. If you have any questions or would like to help please reach out to - Holly Hooper, Teri Snode, or Mindy Bush.
