VBM Update From the Homebase – Week 23
News from Here on Campus!
We were blessed to have Jairo & Muriel Valdiviezo, missionaries to Burkina Faso, visit the campus. This was a special blessing to Mindy and me since Jairo was in our Bible college when we served as missionaries in Argentina. They will be returning to Burkina Faso the first week of July. I thank the Lord for how He is using them.
WCMT - July 22-25!!
We anticipate over 40 for this World's Cheapest Missions Trip... our largest so far! Here are the current four churches currently planning to come:
- Mikado Baptist Church (Macon, GA)
- Calvary Baptist Church (Redbank, Chattanooga, TN)
- Beacon Baptist Church (Melbourne, FL)
- Freedom Baptist Church (Athens TN)

Pray for Tyler & Brianna Chandler as they arrive today in Brazil for their survey trip. Jason Holt will be leading the trip, and we are praying God will let them see exactly what they need to see on this trip.
PS: Dominic is the young man on Tyler's right. Tyler led him to the Lord about two years ago and he's going on their survey trip with them.

Thank you to all who helped make the Helen, Mary, Mae Hope Scholarship possible this year! Our first year of this ministry is in the books and we praise the Lord for the way He used it in the lives of these children here in Burkina Faso. It is a way not only to invest in the lives of these children through their education, but also by pouring the Word of God into their lives and showing them the love of Christ. We saw God work in a special way and we are looking forward to see what God does through the scholarship in the years ahead.
