A Winter Wonderland

Due to bad weather, most things were closed down in Georgia on Sunday and Monday. All cleared up by Monday afternoon, but a nice winter break was forced upon us for a couple days.

Batemans in Argentina

I was privileged to visit Shawn and Emily Bateman  in Rosario, Argentina. What a wonderful work the Lord is doing through them!

They held youth camp at Camp Vision, and Shawn told me four people accepted Christ, possibly more. Praise the Lord!

Blessings in Argentina

While visiting the Batemans in Argentina, I was privileged to preach to the churches where God let Mindy and me serve many years ago. I was most blessed to know that the work of the Lord continues because it belongs to Him. God will move all of us to the side one day, so don't forget to keep Him as the center of life and ministry.

Upcoming Preview Day

We are planning a "Preview Day," which is a one-day exploration of missions pathways for high school/college students who desire to get more involved in missionary service. The information is below. This event will be taken place on the same day of our Pastoral Advisory Committee meeting.

2nd Week of Classes

Classes have just started back up. We are super grateful for the teachers and students God has sent our way. Please keep VSM in prayer. 

Chapel Service Every Friday

Chapel services at VSM are underway. They're one of the many practical ways we hope that will prepare students for their future service in God's work.

Dallas was the main preacher for chapel last week. 

Construction in the Elliot House

Some remodeling is going on in the Elliot House (girl's dorm). This will be for both present and future progress. We're thankful for what God is doing, and we would love to show it to you when you're in town. 0

Important Dates in 2026

Each of you are busy with family, ministry, and life. I pray God gives you fruit and favor in the area He has placed you in! 
I want to share a few important dates we have on the calendar to help us pray and even participate if you're stateside. 

• January 27-30 -- VSM Module: Sam Wilson (Hebrews)
• February 7 -- Ladies Abide Conference
• February 13 -- VBM Intensive (one-day training event for those on deputation/furlough)
• February 24-27 -- VSM Module: Steve Hall (Bible Studies - The Foundation of Starting a Church)
• March 27 -- Preview Day & Missions Rally (visitors get to "preview" VBM training)
• April 6-10 -- Orientation 
• April 17 -- VBM Intensive (one-day training event for those on deputation/furlough)
• July 14-17 -- WCMT 
• August 17 -- VSM Fall Semester Starts
• September 2026 -- Africa Regional conference in South Africa
• November 19 -- Preview Day (visitors get to "preview" VBM training)
• November 19 -- PAC meeting on VBM campus

We will also have Youth for the Gospel events, representing VSM & VBM in conferences, and a few smaller events scattered throughout the year. We need and appreciate your prayers!
