URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

Please pray for Nate and Emily Wilkerson and their family. Currently, Emily is having a difficult pregnancy with baby Aurora. Emily and Aurora need medical attention that is not available in Benin, West Africa. A medical evacuation team is en route to fly them back to the States. Pray that all goes well and that mother and child get the medical help needed. We at VBM will keep you informed through our social media accounts. Please let us know if you have an questions.

Lots of Upcoming Events

I know you are busy, but if you're able, we'd love to have you participate in the upcoming events. If not, we'd be very appreciative of your prayers.

Foundations of Starting a Church Module - Feb 24-27

I know this class led by Pastor Steve Hall will be a huge help to all that attend! This is open for interns, students and missionaries. If you know Pastor Hall and how the Lord has used him in Cincinnati, you know it will be a blessing! The dates are February 24-27 (the last day is Missions Class led by Pastor Hall and a lunch to follow.) Please pray for the missionaries, interns and students in attendance. If you are not with VBM but are in the area and would like to attend, please reach out to us and let us know. We would love to have any guests on campus that would like to join us!

Upcoming Preview Day

We are planning a "Preview Day," which is a one-day exploration of missions pathways for high school/college students who desire to get more involved in missionary service. The information is below. This event will be taken place on the same day of our Pastoral Advisory Committee meeting.

If you are interested in join us or know of someone who is interested in pursuing missions, click here for more information.

Module Class with Sam Wilson

VSM was blessed to have a module class with Sam Wilson. He is a very knowledgeable and gifted teacher. This module was on Hebrews.

Below is the 2026 Spring Semester Missions Class schedule. Whether you are on deputation or furlough, I would encourage you to try to attend some of these Fridays -- it will provide great fellowship, reminders, and help as you serve the Lord. And plus we always enjoy a meal and fellowship together afterwards!

Another Snowy Weekend

The Lord saw fit to give us more snow again this weekend. It was unique because there was no snow in Alpharetta and about four inches at our house. Very beautiful! Thanks to Sarah and Damaris for the beautiful pictures!

Upcoming Presentation of Rings

We are thrilled to present two rings at VBM Orientation this year (April 6-10 @ the Wilds). They will be given to Paul Taube and Dallas Brown. Both are well worthy of the rings, and both have fulfilled the needed requirements to receive a ring. The requirements to receive a ring are:

  • 10 years minimum as a missionary and at least 5 of those years must be with VBM.
  • They have started a church and turned it over to a national
  • They hunger to make others a success in their service to our God and king

Our Motto: “no man lives to himself” (Romans 14:7)

"I have but one passion—it is He, it is He alone. The world is the field and the field is the world; and henceforth that country shall be my home where I can be most used in winning souls for Christ." — Count Zinzendorf

Volunteers

We are grateful to the volunteers we have that come in once a week to help open mail. It usually takes an hour or two, which allows the home office team to begin processing checks on a faster rate. Whenever you're in town, consider swinging by the office and offering a hand. If you would like to help sometime, you can reach out to the VBM Office.
