Recruiting @ Sword of the Lord

Last week, a VBM missionary family represented VBM for the purpose of recruitment. He had several good conversations, and we are praying God allows us to see fruit from the investment!

Recruiting @ Arise Youth Conference

Last week, Mindy and I represented VBM at the Arise Youth Conference for the purpose of recruitment. A special thanks to Jacob Clower, Benjamin Broyles, Michael Turner, and Nate Wilkerson for each coming up an evening to speak with young people. We are praying God gives us future laborers from this conference! We had several good conversations, and more young people came to our table to tell us they were praying about missions than we have ever had in years past.

In the last picture, you will see the promo ad that came up every few seconds before the services. Over 7,000 young people! Pray that God gives us fruit!

New Faculty Training

TJ Gabriel, our Academic Dean, and Travis met with two of our newest VSM teachers (Bill Schneider and Dennis Blankenship) to help prepare for a strong fall semester. We are tremendously blessed by those God is adding and allowing to influence our future missionaries!

VBM Summer Grill-Out

We enjoyed some good food and fellowship on campus with friends on Friday.

Youth Camp in NY City

Our missionary team led youth camp for the young people in the ministry there. God blessed, and two of the boys in the picture made professions of faith!! Praise the Lord!

More Visitors

Josh & Allie Miller received another group of visitors from the US. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to influence others about the need for more laborers!

Vistors in NY City

Some of the youth from VBC visited the Blooms and Canavans in NY City. Praise God for what He is doing through His servants in this megacity!

We will also have Youth for the Gospel events, representing VSM & VBM in conferences, and a few smaller events scattered throughout the year. We need and appreciate your prayers!

Golf Tournament!

Stephen Cofield has been a tremendous help in the past, and once again, has joined to help us plan for our 5th annual Golf Tournament. We will be spreading the word, looking for golfers, and contacting sponsors. Our goal with the proceeds will go towards professionally remodeling the gym to be an official basketball and volleyball court. It will be used for local Christian schools, churches, and VBM/VSM use. We are excited about what God is doing!

VBM @ Sword of the Lord

A special thanks to Paul and Amber Taube for representing VBM & VSM at the Sword of the Lord conference. The conference started last night and will continue for the next couple of days.

Survey Trip to NY City - Consider Helping

We are Jacob, Tiffany, and Scarlett Mast. Tiffany and I are graduates of the Vision School of Missions. As we prepare for missionary service, we would be grateful for your prayers. This October, we are planning a survey trip to New York City to seek the Lord's direction and evaluate opportunities for future ministry! Please pray that God will provide wisdom, guidance, open doors, and the resources needed as we follow His leading.
