"Is there anything stopping you from going to the mission field?” This question from a missionary to Africa caused Jim Roberts III and his wife, Sandy, to make the decision to give the next 30-plus years of their life to world missions. Knowing that nothing was stopping them, they first headed to Scotland. During their eight years there, souls were saved, and God’s hand was seen. In 1988, he accepted the call as pastor of Mile Creek Baptist Church in Six Mile, South Carolina. Over the next 25 years, God grew the congregation of 40 to over 400. In 2013, Jim once again stepped out on faith and joined Vision Baptist Missions to take the Gospel to the villages of India. Now they serve as Field Director for Europe and North America.
