Josh & Morgan Barton

Josh and Morgan were both privileged to grow up in Christian homes where they heard the Gospel and made professions of faith at a young age. Upon graduating high school, Josh surrendered to God’s call on his life into full-time ministry at the age of 18. It was during this time he attended Veritas Baptist College while simultaneously serving in the ministry as an assistant pastor. 

After graduating from Bible college in 2021, the Lord opened the door for Josh and Morgan to take a missions trip together with their church for a month in the country of Peru. While there, God revealed to them the great need for Gospel laborers worldwide and they both surrendered to be missionaries. Josh and Morgan were married in January of 2022 and they began praying about their next steps. 

In January of 2023, the Lord opened the door for them to take a 6-month internship with Vision Baptist Missions in South Africa where they continued to pray about where God would have them serve in the future. While there, Josh and Morgan were able to visit the country of Mozambique and God began to break their hearts for the great need of Bible preaching churches in this area. They surrendered to be missionaries to Mozambique and arrived to the field in April of 2025. 

The Lord has also blessed them with twins that were born on October 4, 2023! A boy and a girl named Liam and Lana. They are excited to follow God’s will for their lives to the country of Mozambique and covet your prayers as they continue to serve the Lord in Africa!
