Madison Brown

My name is Madison Brown. I was raised in a Christian home, and my parents made sure the Bible was taught in every aspect of my life - home, church, and school. When I was 8 years old, my older sister asked to practice sharing the gospel with me. This was the first time I realized my personal need for a Savior. I put my faith in Christ that day and was later baptized at my home church, Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church. As I got older, I got involved with the bus ministry at my home church, and when I was 15 years old I had the opportunity to take my first mission trip to Santiago, Chile. This was the first time I had seen the need for the gospel in another country, and God began to burden my heart for the mission field. At 18 years old, I went on a local mission trip with Vision Baptist Missions, and I surrendered my life to be a missionary. After graduating high school, I joined the Our Generation Training Center to begin preparing for missions. In July of 2023, I finished my classes at the Training Center and a 6 month internship in South Africa. God has given me a burden for the mission field, and I am looking forward to following His call on my life by serving in the ministries in South Africa.
