Chile Church Planting - Land
Vision
The vision of the Chile Church Planting Land fund is to establish a lasting gospel presence by securing permanent facilities for national churches. This effort is not simply about purchasing property or constructing buildings, but about creating a foundation for long-term gospel work through investing in autonomous churches and equipping them for future ministry.
Current Need
Peace Baptist Church was planted in Pedro Aguirre Cerda, a community with significant needs, where the hope of the gospel is both urgently needed and already transforming lives. In just its first year, the church has seen steady growth—recently celebrating seven baptisms in a single week—and is now consistently gathering at full capacity. During this time of spiritual blessing, the owner of their rented building sold the property. The new owners have given Pastor Claudio Orellana and the members of Peace Baptist Church notice to vacate the property.
We are trusting that God is providentially closing one door and opening another. We are praying that God would provide $150,000 within the next 4 months for us to purchase property for this church. This investment will provide:
- a stable, long-term location for the church to gather
- increased capacity to reach and serve the surrounding community
- a foundation for continued growth and ministry expansion
This is an opportunity to help establish a lasting gospel presence in Pedro Aguirre Cerda where lives are already being changed. We invite you to partner through a one-time investment or ongoing support to help make this possible.
How Gifts Are Used: Donations designated for the Chile Church Planting Land fund will be used to support the church planting work in Chile, including the purchase of land, a building, or other related needs. If the project needs are met or cannot be completed, remaining funds will support other building or ministry projects in Chile or elsewhere in Latin America.
As with all gifts to Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. (VBM), contributions are received with the understanding that they are under the full discretion and control of VBM. For further information, see visionmissions.com/giving-faqs
