Missionary Mark - Pastor's Fund
Missionary Mark - Pastor’s Fund
A Bridge Of Help And Hope
Purpose
Assisting local pastors with church planting and ministry needs.
The Need
National pastors are key for local churches to be self-governing, yet many face financial challenges as they plant and lead churches, especially in restricted areas where hardship and persecution are common. Like giving a fisherman a pole instead of a fish, the Pastor’s Fund provides practical help and equips pastors with the tools they need to, Lord willing, gather believers, preach God’s Word, and establish strong churches.
Vision
The vision of the Pastor’s Fund is to be a bridge of help and hope for national pastors, especially those serving in restricted areas, by providing rent for meeting spaces, temporary support when needed, and other ministry expenses. This support is not simply about assisting individuals but about creating a foundation that enables these faithful men to overcome financial obstacles—obstacles that hinder their ability to plant and strengthen churches and remain focused on the work God has called them to do.
- Church Rent & Facilities – Provide meeting spaces that give pastors a secure location for services and outreach.
- Temporary Support for Pastors – Offer limited salary help or love offerings when local churches cannot meet their pastor’s needs.
- Temporary Support for Training Pastors – Provide short-term help for “pastors in training” when they are ready to begin training full-time.
- Church Planting & Ministry Expenses – Cover ministry costs such as chairs, Bibles, technology, new church expenses, health needs, or travel and costs related to training conferences.
How You Can Help
Supporters are invited to prayerfully consider monthly support—$25, $50, or $100—or a one-time love offering to assist faithful national pastors and those preparing for ministry.
Current Project
The Pastor’s Fund is raising monthly support and one-time love offerings to assist national pastors serving in Creative Access Country (Asia). While many missionaries cannot enter these areas, these pastors remain on the ground, faithfully preaching the gospel and planting churches.
How Gifts Are Used
Donations designated for the Pastor’s Fund will be used to support the national pastors or those in training serving in a Creative Access Country and across Asia, including church rent, temporary support, training assistance, conference expenses, or other related needs. If the project needs are met or cannot be completed, remaining funds will support future projects or expenses in that Creative Access Country or other parts of Asia.
As with all gifts to Vision Baptist Missions, Inc. (VBM), contributions are received with the understanding that they are under the full discretion and control of VBM. For further information, see visionmissions.com/giving-faqs
Creative Access Country Notice
Because of ongoing ministry in a Creative Access Country, personal or ministry-related information should not be posted on public websites for security reasons. “Creative Access Countries” refers to nations where traditional missionaries are not openly welcomed or permitted.
